HTBMFF
(How tteokbokki became my favourite food) is an ethnographic project that translates concepts of migratory culture and identity preservation through the eyes of two international designers living in the Netherlands. The research takes the shape of a Korean cookbook, where the kitchen becomes an exploratory medium of resistance, and the collected recipes are a practical way to integrate one’s identity into a new environment. This book is designed to be bilingual in English and Dutch, as it aspires to be a merging point of cultural encounter.
